Our mission in Spain
…is born from a deep desire to make the love of Christ present in all the areas where we serve and to be instruments through which others may encounter the Lord.
Currently, our presence is established in Madrid and Segovia, with three communities: two dedicated directly to mission work and one formation community, where young Oblate women mature in their vocation to consecrated life.

With the diocesan Church
We participate in the service of the diocesan Church and parishes, walking in communion with the Church and her pastors as part of the Oblate family.
We seek to be close to people, serving, accompanying, and creating spaces of welcome and dialogue that generate life.

Next to those who suffer
Like Mary, we are called to stand at the foot of the Cross, beside those who suffer, alongside those whose condition cries out for a hope and a salvation that only Christ can fully offer.
Through words of comfort and gestures of tenderness, we strive to make the Lord’s mercy present in the world of education, in healthcare, in the care of immigrants, in closeness to those who are incarcerated, and in the accompaniment of young people, children, and families.

Creating homes
Our communities seek to be true homes, where young people feel welcomed and heard as they discover the vocation to which God is calling them.
As missionaries, we feel called to be bold in our missions and projects, helping each person to recognize their dignity as a human being and a child of God.

Welcome
Mary, our Mother and model, teaches us to live with openness to God’s plan, welcoming, caring for, and valuing the small details of everyday life.
With simplicity and joy, we live our daily self-giving, learning to treasure all things in our hearts—as she did—and to share generously, among ourselves and with others, what we are and what we have.
